The Buffalo Bandits today announced the team’s training camp schedule. The camp will open on Saturday, Nov. 3 at KeyBank Center.
The training camp schedule is highlighted by three preseason games and two open practice opportunities.
On Nov. 10, the Bandits will head to Houghton College, alma mater of Bandits co-owner Kim Pegula, for the first open practice and a youth clinic. The practice will begin at 10 a.m. at the Kerr-Pegula Field House and will be followed by a youth clinic beginning at 11:30 a.m. Participants in the clinic will have the opportunity to receive on-floor instruction from Bandits players and coaches.
UPDATE (Nov. 7, 2018): The Buffalo Bandits youth clinic and open practice previously scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 10 at the Kerr-Pegula Fieldhouse at Houghton College has been postponed at this time. The team is working to reschedule and will provide an update when possible.
The Bandits’ annual open practice is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 17 at 10 a.m. at KeyBank Center. The event is open to the public as a free, non-ticketed event with general admission seating. Parking for the day will be free in the KeyBank Center parking garage.
There will be a town hall Q-and-A in the Lexus Club with General Manager Steve Dietrich, Head Coaches John Tavares and Rich Kilgour, and Director of Lacrosse Operations Scott Loffler beginning at 11:30 a.m. The Bandits will also be hosting a team autograph session and holding a team garage sale, offering fans the opportunity to purchase practice jerseys, locker nameplates, sticks, photos and a wide variety of other Bandits memorabilia.
The Bandits will host the team’s annual select-a-seat promotion before and during the practice, giving fans the chance to choose their seats and purchase 2018-19 season tickets.
UPDATE (Nov. 15, 2018): The Buffalo Bandits open practice previously scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 17 at KeyBank Center has been postponed at this time due to ongoing contract negotiations between the NLL and PLPA. The team is working to reschedule and will provide an update when possible.
