Buffalo Bandits Director of Lacrosse Operations Scott Loffler today announced the team has acquired defenseman Chris Driscoll from Toronto in exchange for defenseman Phil Sanderson.
Driscoll is signed through the 2011 season, while Sanderson is set to become an unrestricted free agent at Midnight tonight.
This will be Driscoll’s second stint in Buffalo, as he scored 84 points (33+51) in 23 games with the Bandits from 1999-2001.
Last season with Toronto, the 37-year-old Driscoll had 22 points (7+15) in 16 games, and was 15th in the league with a career-high 104 loose balls. A 17-year NLL veteran, Driscoll has 595 points (233+362) in 203 career games with Toronto, New York, Buffalo, Rochester and Detroit.
