The second annual Bowhunter Cup, an international exhibition between the Iroquois Nationals and the United States Men’s Indoor Lacrosse Team, will be played on Sunday, Oct. 16 at the Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona, NY. The game, presented by the Oneida Indian Nation, will start at 6 p.m.

Buffalo Bandits forward and Oneida Nation member Brett Bucktooth will suit up for the Nationals alongside Bandits teammates Angus Goodleaf, Tom Montour and Roger Vyse. Buffalo’s offensive coach Duane Jacobs serves as the head coach for the Iroquois and will be joined on the bench by Bandits assistant coach/scout Ron Henry.

Vyse scored the game-winning goal in an 11-10 victory over Team USA when the two teams met this past May during pool play at the 2011 FIL World Indoor Lacrosse Championships in Prague, Czech Republic. The Iroquois settled for the silver medal after losing to Canada in the final, while the U.S. finished third to take home bronze.

The Americans beat the Nationals in the inaugural Bowhunter Cup by a score of 13-11, their only win in the four-game all-time series. The Turning Stone Event Center was also the site of the 2011 National Lacrosse League All-Star Game.

Tickets for adults are priced at $20 for upper bowl reserved seating and $10 for lower bowl (or obstructed view) general admission. All seats for youth 12 and under are just $10. Tickets are available at the Turning Stone Box Office or by calling 315-361-SHOW or toll-free at 1-877-833-SHOW. The Box Office is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tickets may also be purchased at any Ticketmaster location or online at
