BANDITS AGREE TO TERMS WITH SIX PLAYERS

BUFFALO, NY (September 20, 2012) --- Buffalo Bandits General Manager Steve Dietrich today announced that the Bandits have signed transition players David Brock and Jay Thorimbert, and goaltenders Angus Goodleaf and Kurtis Wagar.

Brock (6'3", 215 lbs., 8/13/86) joins the Bandits after splitting his first two NLL seasons between Boston and Philadelphia. In 2012, Brock appeared in 15 games for the Wings, recording five points (3+2) and 66 loose balls. He was acquired by the Bandits from Philadelphia in a trade in August.

Thorimbert (6'0", 200 lbs., 7/6/86) enters his third season with the Bandits, after being acquired from the Minnesota Swarm before the 2011 season. In nine games last season, Thorimbert led the Bandits with 80 faceoff wins and a faceoff percentage of 57.6 percent, also collecting four points (2+2) and 73 loose balls.

In his third season with the Bandits, Goodleaf (6'0", 240 lbs., 3/6/87) dressed for six games in 2012, posting an 0-2 record and a .708 save percentage.  In his career, Goodleaf has compiled a 1-8 regular season record, a 10.86 goals against average and a .767 save percentage. In the playoffs, Goodleaf is 0-1 with a 7.54 goals against average and save a save percentage of .812.

Wagar joins Buffalo after spending the last two seasons with the Philadelphia Wings. A six-year NLL veteran, Wagar has dressed for 46 games in his career with Philadelphia, Orlando, New York and Edmonton, posting a career save percentage of .768 and a goals against average of 10.62.

The Bandits also announced that they have agreed to terms with defenseman Marty Hill and transition player Craig England on one-year rookie contracts.
