BUFFALO, NY (April 17, 2013) --- The National Lacrosse League today announced that Buffalo Bandits transition player Jordan Critch has been named NLL “Rookie of the Week” for Week 15 of the 2013 NLL season.
Critch, who entered the week with one goal and no assists in three career games, tallied two goals and two assists in Buffalo’s 15-10 win against the Washington Stealth on Saturday, April 13. The win kept Buffalo’s 2013 playoff hopes alive.
The 22-year-old Orangeville, Ontario native, was Buffalo’s second-round selection (16th overall) in the 2012 NLL Entry Draft. The weekly player award winners are selected by a vote of the league’s general managers and head coaches.
The Bandits will return to First Niagara Center this Saturday, April 20 for their season finale against the Rochester Knighthawks. The winner of the game will clinch a spot in the 2013 NLL Playoffs.
