Buffalo Bandits Director of Lacrosse Operations Scott Loffler today announced the team has acquired a second-round selection in the 2009 Entry Draft from the Washington Stealth, in exchange for transition player Jamieson Koesterer and Buffalo’s fifth-round selection in the 2009 Entry Draft.
The Bandits currently hold seven selections in the 2009 Draft: three in the 2nd round; one in the 3rd; two in the 4th, and one in the 6th.
The Bandits had previously selected Koesterer with the ninth selection in a dispersal draft held by the National Lacrosse League on July 7. A 24-year-old native of Cazenovia, NY (but now lives in Seattle), Koesterer picked up 39 loose balls and two points (0+2) in eight games with Portland last season.
