Buffalo Bandits Director of Lacrosse Operations Scott Loffler today announced that Derek Graham has been promoted to Associate General Manager, effective immediately.

Graham will work closely with current Head Coach Darris Kilgour on all player personnel decisions. Graham will also be the liaison between the Bandits and the league office, as well as other GM's from around the NLL, to help facilitate future success of the Buffalo Bandits.

For the past two seasons, he was an assistant coach and scout with the Bandits. Previously, he was the head coach and general manager with the Hamilton Bengals Junior "B" Lacrosse Club.

Graham has also worked with the Six Nations Chiefs of the Ontario Lacrosse Association as an Offensive and Defensive Co-coordinator. In 2003 he was voted "Coach of the Year" while working as the coach of the St. Catharines Major Athletics Lacrosse Club.

The Buffalo Bandits also announced they have re-signed both forward Sean Greenhalgh and defenseman Joe Smith to one-year contracts. Greenhalgh rebounded from an injury-plagued 2008 season to post 37 points (15+22) in 15 games last year. Smith appeared in 10 games with the Bandits last season, adding one assist and 40 penalty minutes.
